IMARET
The humanitarian arm of IMAM
IMARET is the humanitarian and relief arm of IMAM, established in 2014. With over 4,000 volunteers, we reach more than 50,000 beneficiaries a year — delivering disaster response, primary healthcare outreach, mental health support and clean-water initiatives to underserved and marginalised communities, at home and abroad.

Four areas of work

Disaster Relief & Crisis Response
Rapid, effective aid during natural disasters and crises — including flood relief, COVID-19 relief and international missions to Türkiye and Palestine — to alleviate hardship and help communities recover.

Primary Healthcare Services
Bringing essential medical care to underserved communities through outreach for Orang Asli, Peribumi Sarawak and Bajau Laut populations, and static and mobile charity clinics for refugees.

Mental Health & Psychosocial Support
Promoting mental-health awareness and providing support to B40 and low-income communities — with a particular focus on adolescents — through talks, screenings and creative activities.

Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)
Ensuring access to clean water through the SafeWhere Initiative — cost-effective, high-output treatment systems for Orang Asli, low-income and disaster-affected communities — alongside hygiene-kit distribution.
