Our Story
A brief history
Founded in 1990, IMAM is a pioneer in medical welfare in Malaysia. From a fellowship of Muslim healthcare professionals it has grown into a national body uniting doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and allied health personnel under the shared vision of serving humanity through medicine and faith.
Over the decades IMAM has expanded from medical education and scientific conferences into humanitarian relief, primary healthcare outreach, mental health support and cancer awareness — through chapters such as IMARET (est. 2014), Rumah Solehah, IMACARE, IMAM Youth and IMACATS, supported by dedicated members, volunteers and generous funders.
